Dear An-Wei
I wanted to send this message to congratulate the 8th Route Army Museum and the Helen Snow Studies Group on the official opening of the new exhibit, "A Great Woman--Life and Work of Helen Foster Snow." The original exhibit set up in October 1997 was so impressive to those who attended it that they told their friends about it in the United States. Unfortunately, some of the people who visited Xi'an in later years, expressed disappointment because they could not find her exhibit. I am very happy that the exhibit has not only been restored; but also, has been updated using new technology. Helen could never have imagined such things as an electronic Visitor's Book and she would be very happy about the additional Audio Visual materials that will be shown. Surely this will help carry the Edgar and Helen Snow Spirit of friendship and understanding between the U.S. and China to future generations
